AI is hitting a wall. As models scale, the copper links between chips can't keep up, and the power they burn moving data has become a hard ceiling on how far the industry can go. Solinide Photonics exists to lift that ceiling.
At the heart of our technology is the microcomb: a single chip that generates a precise comb of dozens of laser wavelengths at once. Built on our ultra-low-loss silicon nitride (SiN) platform, our microcombs are power-efficient, scalable, and mass-manufacturable, exactly the light source co-packaged optics needs to replace copper and slash the energy cost per bit. The same technology reaches further still, into 6G networks and free-space optical communications.
The shift from electrons to photons inside the datacenter is the most important infrastructure transition of the AI era. We intend to be the company that powers it.

Solinide Photonics is a silicon nitride (SiN) photonics foundry and product company, born out of world-leading research at Chalmers University of Technology. We design our chips, run our cleanroom process, and own the full path from physics to product, from dispersion-engineered waveguides to finished microcomb devices.
